During London Design Festival (15 - 23 September 2018) designjunction hosted a panel discussion to discuss the revival of the south of the river area of Bankside which has unlocked new urban and placemaking opportunities over the years. The panel included the head architect behind one it's well-known buildings NEO Bankside, the team behind a new initiative Illuminated River, shedding the light on the riverside and its place in the London's urban landscape and Coin Street, the community initiative fostering the area.
BDG’s Director of Architecture, Toby Neilson, also joined the panel. Toby has been involved in leading the design and delivery on a number of their large scale, full building refurbishments in London, the UK and throughout mainland Europe including the renovation of Bankside’s Sea Containers for Ogilvy, Wavemaker (formerly MEC) and GTB.
