Consolidation for over 2000 staff from 20 offices to the new headquarters building.


The relocation provided the council with the opportunity to create significant cost savings by bringing many of their staff under one roof where 90% of workstations are truly flexible.


Although substantially a new build, the development incorporates Grade II listed buildings that interface at different levels. The design strategy was varied to ensure both the new build, with the sharp clean concrete lines and the existing listed buildings, with exposed brickwork and iron beams were part of the same visual language.


The relocation for Southwark Council has created an efficient and flexible workspace that ensures easier communication across departments.
