A Workspace for the Future
Work has started on site for the refurbishment of Rose Court for the new co-location campus for WPP located in the heart of London.
Structure Tone has recently moved onto site for the start of the extensive refurbishment which includes removing the existing cladding and installing new glazed façade with decorative finials.
The extensive refurbishment of this building will dramatically improve the performance of the existing building. An addition to the front façade reinforces the street line and the roof extension will be carefully sculpted in response to long range protected views of St Pauls. A new rooftop terrace, bordered by green roof and planting, will offer spectacular views towards the City, South Bank, Tate Modern and across the River Thames.
Internally, the scheme will provide a high quality workplace throughout with shared amenity spaces in the form of a café, canteen, restaurant event space and a business lounge. These shared spaces will be located on lower and upper storeys which will be connected with a new stair case encouraging movement and socialising.
BDG are working closely with Colliers International, Hoare Lea, Webb Yates, Eckersley O’Callaghan and planning consultant, Montagu Evans on this next generation workspace for WPP.
The building will achieve BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating.
